Self-dubbed Asian Fashionista: Must-have acessory: glasses (1)

Accessorizing with glasses has been a hit for a while now and glasses available in stores now come in a ridiculous variety of shapes and sizes, styles and colors. If you guys have trouble figuring which ones to pick, this post is for you.

First, it’s the most popular shape-the crescent shaped glasses. It’s a style that almost everyone has. Even though it's really common, I got my prescription glasses in this shape since they’re stylish but not too flashy.

<Since prescription glasses are something you would want to wear on a regular basis, it is better not to choose ones that are too eye-catching. Colors that go with everything are the best. I really like mine since they have bright-colored sides and a skull detail. They go with most of my outfits but are not boring like other plain black glasses.

However, if you just want to spice up a relatively dull outfit, below are the ones for you. Wearing these with an already-colorful outfit is a no-go though!

<And for those who are going for a retro style should probably look for thick rimmed glasses like these.

Second are these round-shaped glasses which are definitely a big> DO. They're stylish and not as common as the crescent-shaped ones. With these glasses, you'll stand out for sure, and the best thing about them is that they make your eyes appear bigger. These babies are already really popular in Korea and is slowly making its way throughout Asia. These are mine and I got them in Shanghai for dirt cheap^^ Aren’t they cute?

Kpop stars, such as CNU from rookie group B1A4 and IU in particular have been seen sporting them. By the way, if you haven’t heard of B1A4, you should check them out! This group has some ridiculously cute members with good vocals.
